Hints

Information about showcases on dasauge

We’re happy that you are interested in compiling a showcase on dasauge. Here are a few useful hints to take on board before you create your first portfolio.

Purpose of a showcase

A showcase on dasauge is intended to give potential clients an insight into your work. We therefore expect you to offer creative services for third parties on a professional level and to exhibit this standard in your showcase. The showcase is not designed for collections of images or picture albums—such as photos of your workplace or colleagues—but rather to serve as a reference for your work. The showcase is also not designed for the simple exchange of data.

Structure of a showcase

A showcase consists of one or more portfolios. This enables you to collate different pieces of work or to present them separately. You are completely free to choose how many portfolios you wish to create and the criteria you use to organize your work. However, please ensure that your portfolios are of a sensible size: six to twelve pieces of work per portfolio serves as a general guideline.

Content

dasauge does not permit you to publish material that is pornographic, repellent or otherwise damaging in nature, or that glorifies violence in any way. If you’re unsure whether you’re crossing this line—in the case of nude photography, for example—please ask us before you post your material.

Copyright

Before uploading your work, please ensure that you own the respective copyrights. This not only includes right of use and the permission of the client or commissioning party, if applicable, but also the permission of all the people portrayed. Please note that you carry sole legal responsibility for all your published work.
