YOUR TASKS

AVANTGARDE is looking for an exceptionally talented digital and experiential project manager with more than 5 years of experience within a busy agency environment delivering digital-based solutions within the experiential space and the general digital space.

  • You will have a passion for interactive, innovation and a wealth of experience working on the technology side of large-scale live consumer events, product launches, brand experiences and experiential campaigns
  • You will also have a background in delivering high quality software (websites, mobile websites, touchscreen systems and other interactive technology) with in-depth experience of managing design and build projects. We use a wide variety of technical solutions and you should be comfortable in getting up-to-speed quickly with different solutions and platforms
  • Working closely with our in-house physical production, account services and creative teams, you’ll be responsible for managing and coordinating projects from initial pitch stage to delivery, overseeing all technical production elements including: software development, interactive AV kit, content management, management of freelancers and suppliers (for hardware, software and services) and managing delivery within the prescribed time and budget limits.
  • You will be used to manage multiple projects at once and to sourcing, hiring and mentoring additional team members as workload requires
  • You will be working in a small passionate team and need to be able to express your opinions clearly and be great at estimating and managing your time and that of your team

YOUR PROFILE
This role is for a senior digital and experiential project manager who will be able to carry a project from conception through to completion, working within an already strong team but who do not have a large degree of digital of technical knowledge – educating and mentoring is essential.

Working directly with the digital director, creative team and account servicing team, your in-depth knowledge of design/development lifecycles and experiential will be called upon to ensure projects are monitored for performance and delivered on-time and on-budget.

Skills required include, but are not limited to:

  • At least 4 years of project management or production experience in a technical consultancy/digital agency/experiential agency
  • Strong understanding and vested interest in the ROI of any given project (results driven) and creation of core documents i.e. estimates, budgets, Gannt charts, resource balancing reports and SOWs
  • Actively monitor and report on active projects by creating regular detailed burn (risk) reports and distributing with summaries
  • Support the Digital Director and other team members with new pitches by putting together cost estimates, timelines, presentations and other ad hoc tasks
  • A client centric approach to your work whilst being a team player with a passion for the work that you do
  • Enjoy working in a cross disciplinary team whilst leading by example and educating others on best practices in order to increase quality
  • A drive and commitment to efficiency and effectiveness to manage and complete multiple projects at once and be able to delegate
  • Ability to read and understand architectural space and layout plans
  • Strong industry contact and networks
  • Used to a fast-pace and pressured environment with rapid turn-around times
  • Remain positive in the face of adversity, have strong communication skills and be a good listener (a team-based approach)
  • A desire to create a larger, more capable and stronger team that can extend into different marketing verticals
  • Decisive and confident with strong attention to detail
  • Devoted to keeping up to date with web and presentation technologies (you don’t need to know the ins and outs, but should have a very strong understanding of both the different technologies and different skill sets that it takes to compile a digital team on a project)
